Tailing International is seeking an experienced Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to support offshore inspection activities in the Gulf of America. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with offshore welding inspection, fabrication standards, and oil & gas industry codes.
Requirements:
- AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) – Required
- 5+ years welding inspection experience (offshore/oil & gas preferred)
- Strong knowledge of AWS D1.1, ASME Section IX, API 1104
- Experience reviewing WPS, PQR, WPQ, and inspection documentation
- Ability to read engineering drawings and welding symbols
- Experience with offshore structures, pipelines, or platform work
- BOSIET/HUET or equivalent offshore survival training
- Offshore medical
- TWIC card preferred
- Ability to work offshore rotations
- Strong reporting and documentation skills
